Corrective orthodontics is the treatment of a malocclusion in the permanent dentition.

This is where dental appliances are used to move teeth. Orthodontists are trained to provide treatments to prevent or reduce the severity of developing malocclusions by maintaining the quality of an otherwise healthy developing oral structure. Corrective orthodontics is a technical field within orthodontics focused on diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities. Unlike preventive or interceptive orthodontics, which aim to address issues early in a patient’s development, corrective orthodontics involves the use of appliances and techniques to correct established malocclusions (misalignments of the teeth and jaws) and other dental deformities in children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr Antonio was exceptional. His advice made perfect sense and while it wasn’t the easiest of options, he was able to explain in detail the thought behind it all. I don't like dentist's, I would avoid at all costs. However, when I had really bad toothache, I kept holding out hoping it would go away, no such luck. I contacted several Dentists and IQ Dental and Implant centre got back to me by phone. Very professional, easy to understand what was next, same day appointment. The whole team made me feel very comfortable, they understood I hated going to the Dentist and they took the time to make me feel at ease, all very different from my last dentist! I will say going to IQ Dental has changed my mind about dental procedures. I highly recommend IQ Dental and Implant centre, absolutely fantastic service, wonderful staff.

I had a new patient consultation with Klaudia today and after initially being a bit nervous to go to the dentist after 10 years it was a great experience. Firstly the reception staff are so friendly and welcoming which helped put me at ease straight away. Klaudia was lovely and there was no judgement about the condition of my teeth only advice on how to improve and a plan put together for the treatment needed. Following advice from Klaudia I returned later on in the day for a hygienist appointment with Charlotte, again I was a bit nervous as I had never seen a hygienist before but she talked me through everything beforehand and there was no judgement only advice on improving the condition of my teeth, I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment with her. Overall it’s a very relaxing atmosphere and has changed my view on dentistry, I am looking forward to continuing the rest of my treatment plan.

The team at this practice are second to none. Having only been to the dentist a handful of times as a child, I was nervous to say the least. However I was put at ease by the reception staff and more so by Antonio. I was conscious of my smile (with teeth) due to their shape but now I can't stop! Would highly recommend again and again, the team are understanding, informative and results are outstanding!

I have always been incredibly nervous when visiting the dentist but from the moment I walked in to this practice I felt at ease. The receptionists were warm and welcoming and I immediately felt in safe hands with Antonio (dentist) and Jo (hygienist). Any anxiety or worries I had were put at ease, especially during my first hygiene appointment where Jo was just brilliant! She kept me calm and was very patient with me and I can confidently say I will have no anxiety for my next appointment. The practice is stylish, clean and comfortable.

I have been coming to this practice for over two years. Over this time, Sia has been my dentist and Jo my hygienist. I am yet to meet a person who likes going to the dentist but this experience comes the closest to me. I have never had any pain after treatments here. Even the anaesthetics injection is painless which is no small achievement. In addition, they have very warm and kind personalities. I have to travel about 45 min by car to get here but I will as long as these two are at the practice.
